Agenda
Task 1: Question of the Day
- Pair Share: What are "factors" in math? Pick two numbers between 1 and 20 and list all their factors. (in your math notebook)
Task 2: Building Rectangles project
Instructions for project:
- work with your partner or triad
- get a card from Ms. Lopez
- in your math notebook, write down all the factors of each number
- get a piece of graph paper and build a rectangle for each factor pair
- color each rectangle and carefully cut them out and glue them onto construction paper
- create a poster for each number that includes all the possible factor pairs and corresponding rectangles. The number must be on the top of the poster
