Task 1: Question of the Day

  • How far have you gotten in the Building Rectangles Project? What is your next step?

Task 2: Finish Building Rectangles project


Instructions for project:
  1. work with your partner or triad
  2. get a card from Ms. Lopez
  3. in your math notebook, write down all the factors of each number
  4. get a piece of graph paper and build a rectangle for each factor pair
  5. color each rectangle and carefully cut them out and glue them onto construction paper
  6. create a poster for each number that includes all the possible factor pairs and corresponding rectangles. The number must be on the top of the poster
